Latest Version of Wordpress - 2.8 "Baker"

The latest version of Wordpress has been released and its always a good idea to keep up with the latest version. Usually you can easily download it and upgrade from within your wordpress site.

I've come up with an updated version of the Legal mini site called the Legal Mini Site Blog.  The mini site is a site that is focused on one specific geographic or practice area and then optimized for a set of specific keywords.

The latest mini site design now also includes a blog, which is a great way to keep your site updated with fresh content. The latst site we have employed this setup on is for a redesign of an existing mini site for a Chicago Criminal Tax Lawyer.

The new site has an updated crisp design with a home page that lists the firms main information, as well as listing the latest posts from the sites blog. 

This type of layout can have many advantages. For one if the blog is updated on a weekly basis, then over time you will build the sites number of pages and amount of content and combined with other SEO tactics, the site should be able to generate top organic search engine rankings.

Wordpress Version 2.6

The latest version 2.6 of WordPress.org is now available, almost a month ahead schedule. Version 2.6 “Tyner,” named for jazz pianist McCoy Tyner, contains a number of new features that make WordPress a more powerful CMS: you can now track changes to every post and page and easily post from wherever you are on the web, plus there are dozens of incremental improvements to the features introduced in version 2.5.

Wordpress is just awesome!  Its by far the best platform for blogging and once setup, its very easy to use and it has an ever growing library of useful plugins.

We are starting to use the Wordpress blogging platform which has many benefits and is a real great SEO blogging solution. The latest legal blog we have created is a DUI Legal news blog  that is bringing the latest DUI legal news from DUI lawyers around the country.
